Here are 'the twins' at last on their first run out, now all we have to do is build the rake of ex LMS coaches to go behind them.

Get ready for the big January engineering work, this is the new junction for GW entry into the fiddle sidings and the cross-over to the LMS. This will replace the junction that we first put in that was made from Peco Points, but did not allow us to do half of what we needed to, so this had to be changed.

Geoff Holt and Les Fram then set about building a complete new junction to improve the running of the layout. The picture below only shows half of the new junction which will be in situ before Christmas and the GW side will be closed for January, then we'll begin the fitting of the LM side.

Members Christmas Running Day (or the lack of it). Everything ran well, nothing fell off but I was glad to get into Bed.

On Sunday Les Green from the Blackburn Club brought his Duchess down for a play.
